Zach's soccer team Real U11 Red participated in the Sunbelt Classic Tournament down in Pueblo this weekend. After 2 days and 4 games they scored 7 goals and only had one goal scored against them. They took 1st place in the U11 Silver division (8 teams total), after winning a very exciting Championship game. The boys played so well and now have a really nice boost going into the regular season which starts next weekend. This weekend was also a great bonding experience for the team, especially in the hotel pool. Cameron had fun hanging out with all the siblings (Ashley decided to skip the trip and spent the weekend with her friend Bridget) and John and I enjoyed visiting and relaxing with all the other parents. It's amazing how well you bond with people while running and jumping up and down the sidelines...yes I'm THAT mom.
