This is SO cool...to further celebrate my parents 39th anniversary...my mom sent me this picture from 1969 of her and my dad sitting on their rock on the 37th street jetty in Galveston Texas. Their story goes...they were both out surfing and my dad started flirting with my mom by surfing right up next to her and making her fall off her board. She thought he was being a jerk and she stopped surfing and went and sat on this big flat rock on the jetty. My dad surfed over to her on the rock and asked her out...the rest is history. I've always LOVED this picture...you can really feel the love and it reminds me of those awesome beach movies from the 60's.Check out this link to a great video of my parent's song Love Is All Around by the Troggs ...I love this song, it's so perfect for them!
