Red Robin Birthday

Zach, Ashley and Cameron at Red Robin...yum.
Cameron selected Red Robin as his big 11th birthday dinner spot.
He loves it that they give you a big ice cream sundae and he actually enjoys that they'll sing to you.
We heard them sing Happy Birthday at least 5 other times while we were there...popular place for that.
John and I had a great time hanging out with our three most favorite people on the planet.
(Fun fact: After bowling on our first date John and I went to Red Robin for dinner...16 years ago in October.)
Cameron LOVED his new Wii game...played it right when we got home.
Ashley and Cameron both bought cool new cell phones with their birthday money from Nawnie and Mickey.

Welcome Fall!!!
My very favorite time of year.
Fall means gigantic honeycrisp apples the size of your head...like this one big one Ashley just had to buy for her school snack.
It was a monster compared to Cameron's normal sized apple.
Ash said it was delicious but it was just too big for her to finish the whole thing.

Cameron with his yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
Cameron is 11 years old and oh so grown up these days.
He's loving the fifth grade and keeping busy with swimming.
He's working super hard so he can make the swim team in October.
Cam is also looking forward to playing basketball again this winter.

Ashley with her pink cake (strawberry) and white frosting.
Ashley is 10...yahoo double digits!!
She loves her new teacher and thinks 4th grade is awesome.
Her USAG season just started up and with meets almost every other weekend right through December!
Ash is also doing school choir again and just started KidStage and will be playing a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz next month.

We've got a football player...Finally!

Zach #80 Ranchview Wolves
Zach has finally decided to play tackle football and this football loving mommy is so happy about it!
He is currently playing 8th grade football for his Middle School and loving every minute!
He's doing really well and plays quite a few positions:
Offense - Tightend
Defense - Middle Linebacker
Special Teams - Kicker, Punter or Outside Line

He was one of the captains at the first game...that was neat.
This is his first ever kickoff...pretty cool.
His first punt...all those years of playing goalie in soccer sure paid off.
