On the advice from our waiter at Hard Rock we drove down to the strip and parked at the Planet Hollywood hotel. They have this amazing mall that is huge and the ceiling is painted to look like sky. We all enjoyed it...then we went out onto the strip.
Let's just say...walking down the Vegas strip on a Saturday night with 4 kids...not the best advice we've ever been given. We made it down a few blocks to
Caeser's Palace then decided to turn around and head back to the safety of our hotel room. Vegas is a pretty freaky place.
Only problem...the kids had left one of the DVD players plugged in and our battery was now dead. After
unsuccessfully asking 7 different people for a jump including the valet boys who basically laughed at me, we finally found a very nice couple who took 3 minutes out of their night to give us a jump...we even had our own cables. Needless to say none of us were that impressed with
Las Vegas at this point.
