Over spring break we tore apart and then rebuilt our backyard deck. It's so nice now and we've been spending a lot of time hanging out back there. It's still a little chilly at night and John has wanted a fire pit for some time now but has always been very picky about which one to get.
After a lot of searching we finally found the perfect one...it's a big ceramic pot and it looks really nice on the new deck. John is so happy and he has been lighting it up at 8:15 almost every night...even during the week.
Our neighbors have been over for smores and hot dogs and we love just chilling (actually warming) around the fire. John says it's better than watching basketball...well unless the Nuggets are playing!
...oh and we like pretending we're evil Wizards gathered around our cauldron of fire, casting spells.
